Podcast Envy Pro Pod: You don’t have to podcast alone anymore!

“Maybe your audience growth is stagnant. Maybe you’ve got numbers but you’re not sure what they mean or how to translate that to engagement? Maybe you’re bored with your show? Maybe you’re just not sure what you’re making is good? Maybe you’re exhausted from trying to figure everything out all on your own!”

~Andrea Klunder

“Chances are if you have a business, or an organization, whether it’s your full-time pursuit or a side hustle, and you have a podcast (or want to have a podcast), I can come up with a dozen or more ways to make a show that works for you that you and your audience will love!

~Andrea Klunder

You may or may not know (depending on how long you’ve been listening) that I started my podcasting career without a real plan.

I had just closed my first business venture, a storefront yoga studio & spa in Chicago after a 5-year run. I was exhausted, bankrupt, and depressed. I didn’t have another business idea and I couldn’t imagine getting a job and working for someone else.

I wasn’t sure what to do but someone had planted the seed of podcasting and so little by little that seed started to germinate and eventually after a YEAR of research and digging through free (often outdated or misleading) online resources and learning how to record and edit… I hit submit in Apple Podcasts (then called iTunes) for my first show, The Creative Impostor, in 2015.

I still didn’t know how to turn it into a business, or if I could make money, or what I would even sell. I just wanted to make SOMETHING and have conversations with people I found inspiring. I wanted to rediscover the voice that I felt like I lost in the hustle of trying to run a brick & mortar business — following business advice, trying to figure out what people wanted and how to give it to them.

Podcasting in those early days felt like rediscovering my own identity.

And now, 5 years later, I have a growing, thriving business producing, editing, coaching, teaching and consulting on podcast strategy for other creative entrepreneurs, small business owners, and small to mid-size non-profit organizations.

I’ve worked with people in sales, mental health and psychotherapy, education, distribution, opera, legal advocacy, holistic wellness, self-help, law, news & politics, recruiting, social justice, content marketing strategy, language, and more .

On Podcast Envy, which is nearing 100 episodes, I’ve dug into the process of crafting a show that matters, and building community with more than 50 podcasters in different niches. Not to mention the thousands of hours of podcasts I’ve listened to, studying, analyzing, critiquing, and yes, sometimes (most times) even enjoying!

I learn SO MUCH from talking with and listening to other people who make podcasts. And all this year, connecting with other podcasters about their strategies and perspectives and creative pivots has kept me motivated and hopeful for the future.

Chances are if you have a business, or an organization, whether it’s your full-time pursuit or a side hustle, and you have a podcast (or want to have a podcast), I can come up with a dozen or more ways to make a show that works for you that you and your audience will love!

But surprise… I don’t know everything. And though I may have a dozen ideas — there are countless more out there that I haven’t even thought of yet.

And to date, you can hire me or my team to help you launch, to produce and/or edit your show, and or for special consulting and show development packages.

But what if you already have a show? And a business? And it’s been going pretty alright? But you’re feeling stuck.

Like there’s something you feel like you’re missing, or a hump you just haven’t gotten over.

Maybe your audience growth is stagnant.

Maybe you’ve got numbers but you’re not sure what they mean or how to translate that to engagement?

Maybe you’re bored with your show?

Maybe you’re just not sure what you’re making is good?

Maybe you’re exhausted from trying to figure everything out all on your own!

Now what if you could turn to a trusted group of creative professionals in different niches with different areas of expertise who were all podcasting right alongside you – who could understand your challenges AND offer insights, perspective, and possible solutions?

What if you had a distraction-free place to share wins and get quick feedback on small questions that arise throughout the month — without worrying about competition, snide remarks, or sifting through a sea of conflicting and useless advice… or worse yet other coaches pitching their services to you?

What if you had the opportunity to work directly with me to cut through the BS to clarify your focus for the months ahead?

That’s exactly what I’m inviting you to be a part of with the Podcast Envy Pro Pod!

Starting in January we’ll meet in real time once a month at everyone’s new favorite watering hole — Zoom. Each session will spotlight one member with a question, challenge or opportunity with their show for us to discuss and brainstorm solutions.

Every 6 months, you’ll get a deep dive 1-on-1 coaching with me (first one starts at the beginning of the program to get your primed for 2021).

Membership also includes other perks like show features on Podcast Envy, access to my Craft & Culture behind the scenes podcast and an exclusive online hub on Mighty Networks for celebrating wins, posing quick questions and sharing resources for the community.

This cohort is EXACTLY what I wish I’d had once I’d been podcasting for a while.

Who is it for?

It’s designed specifically for creative business leaders within any industry or niche with at least 6 months podcasting experience.

You may own your own business, be a leader within an organization, be part of a small business team, be a freelancer, have a serious side hustle…

You are a creative thinker.

You are a generous person.

We will NOT be covering the basics of “how to podcast,” rather exploring deeper topics for which you can’t just Google the answer or post in a Facebook Group.

What will it cost?

The investment for the founding cohort is $99/month when paid monthly, or $79/month when you pay for the year in full + the time you put in.

While there is no hard time commitment, the more you put in, the more I expect you’ll get out — I ask for you to at least show up for your colleagues to the monthly Zoom and to stay in the program for at least 3 months.

When you join the Pod and then refer another member, your second month of membership is free!

How do I join?

This is a highly curated group, meaning that I am taking applications, and inviting those podcasters who I think will be a good fit for each other to join.

The application is available now at thecreativeimpostor.com/podcastenvypro

2021 is right around the corner – why wait?!

If you’re all in, go ahead and submit the application, there is a question at the bottom to request a short call with me to ask any lingering questions you may have.

What if I have questions?

Please schedule a call ASAP at thecreativeimpostor.com/teafor20 and indicate that you want to talk about Pro Pod membership.

Come with me!

Let’s level up our podcasts together in the year ahead. I see big things in your future and I want to be there to celebrate with you when they happen.

Peace, love, and podcasting!
Andrea
